Impacting and Influencing Organizational Strategy – The HR and Learning Professional’s Role


This course will give you the knowledge and tools with which to dialogue and co-create organizational strategies that improve organizational performance. The two full-day sessions are separated to allow participants time to begin discussions with key executives in their organizations and start to implement these tools. This class is not just about getting a seat at the table but about contributing at that table.

Prerequisites: To enroll in Senior Manager in Human Resources Professional Certificate courses, participants must meet one of the following requirements prior to enrollment:

  • Completion of the 10-course Extended Studies Human Resources Management Certificate in addition to three years of experience as a human resources professional
  • Professional/Senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) designation granted through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI)
  • Minimum of five years’ professional experience working in human resources
