Nevada Clerks Academy


First offered in 2005, the Nevada Municipal and County Clerks Academy is a proven program designed by the University of Nevada, Reno in partnership with the Nevada State Municipal Clerks Association to provide training and development for city, county and deputy clerks, recorders, city secretaries, legislative administrators and other elected and appointed officials wishing to enhance their administrative skills and professional knowledge.

This comprehensive training program provides preparation and contact hours that may be applied toward the national Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) or Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) designation granted by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), a professional organization recognized worldwide.
