Wolf Pack Track and Field Throws Clinics
Boys and girls ages 12-18

Beneficial for shot put, discus and javelin throwers, these skills camps will include drills demonstrated by members of the Wolf Pack track and field team. Campers will be given the opportunity to perform drills and receive critiques from staff members. At the completion of the clinic, campers will receive a booklet with detailed descriptions of all drills.
Throws Clinics include:
- Creating specific warm-up routines for shot put, discus and javelin throwers
- Medicine ball training drills
- Developing sport-specific approaches, positions and technique evaluation
- Discussions of training theory for each sport to make you a better thrower
Clinics will be held at the Wolf Pack Athletics East field on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Parking permits will be available for purchase. For camp content questions, please call assistant coach Scott Williamson, (985) 414-4502 (cell), or email email@example.com.
Campers, please bring snacks, workout clothes, appropriate shoes, shot/discus/javelin (some implements will be provided), sunscreen and water bottles. (Water and cups will be provided, but bring a bottle to refill.)
