Nevada Wolf Pack Track and Field Jumps Clinic


Wolf Pack Jumps and Hurdles Clinics
Boys and girls ages 12-18

High Jump Clinic | Long Jump Clinic | 100/110 Hurdle Clinic | 300/400 Hurdle Clinic

Beneficial for long jumpers, high jumpers and hurdlers, these skills camps will include drills demonstrated by members of the Wolf Pack track and field team. Campers will be given the opportunity to perform drills and receive critiques from staff members. At the completion of each clinic, campers will receive a booklet with detailed descriptions of all drills.

Jumps Clinics include:

  • Creating jump-specific warm-up routines for long, high and hurdlers
  • Developing jump-specific approaches, positions, landings and techniques
  • Discussions of elements of training and drills to make you a better jumper
  • Creating event-specific warm-up and competition checklist
  • Discussion of training theory and event-specific workouts

Camp Details
Clinics will be held at the Wolf Pack Athletics East field on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Parking permits will be available for purchase. For camp content questions, please call assistant coach Scott Williamson, (985) 414-4502 (cell), or email scottwilliamson@unr.edu.

Campers, please bring snacks, workout clothes, appropriate shoes, sunscreen and water bottles. (Water and cups will be provided, but bring a bottle to refill.)
